The24 Movieis still in the early stages of production, with no big updates since it was announced in July 2024. Kiefer Sutherland played the heroic federal agent, Jack Bauer in the television series, and its expected he will return. However,he wasn’t the only hero in the action series, with Secret Service agent, Aaron Pierce being a popular recurring character who could return in the movie version.
Aaron Pierce was played by journeyman actor, Glenn Morshower throughout the series, and his character protected many presidents throughout the show. Pierce and Jack Bauer were allies, despite not sharing a lot of screen time together. However, with Bauer likely facinga global threat, he could do no worse than rely on a fellow heroic counterpart like Pierce for assistance.

Of course,Jack Bauerwas the main hero in the24television series, but he didn’t do everything on his own, with a team of loyal helpers.Aaron Pierce was a key character who also signed up to protect his country, and he became more prominent as the series progressed.He’d be a great character to bring back in the24 Movie, alongside Jack Bauer. He’d likely be fully retired from the Secret Service now, but he’d probably come back to help Bauer protect the country and possibly the world. Fans last saw Pierce in the seventh season, and he played a key part in the White House siege. Up until that point, Pierce was the only character aside from Bauer to appear in every season of the show. However, this impressive run ended when he didn’t appear in Day 8. Pierce also didn’t turn up in24: Live Another Day, sonobody knows exactly what the character is up to now, which is all the more reason for bringing him back in the24 Movie.
Pierce very much chewed the scenery in the first few seasons, acting as a minor supporting character, but he really came into his own in the fifth and arguably best season of24.He teamed up with Bauer to bring down the corrupt president, Charles Logan after one of24’s most shocking betrayals. When he re-appeared in Day 6 for just one episode, he had a relationship with Logan’s wife, Martha. It was heavily suggested they were in a romantic entanglement, but by Day 7, Pierce was residing in Washington D. C and Martha was nowhere to be seen. In fact, the former first lady never appeared again after Day 6 when she stabbed her treacherous ex-husband, leaving him fighting for his life. If Pierce returns, it might also be a way to explain what happened to Martha, with the pair possibly rekindling their close bond and now in a stable relationship.
What Else Has Glenn Morshower Been In?
Glenn Morshower appeared in 49 episodes of24across the first seven seasons, but he has been a regular in television and movies since the 1970s.However,24remains his most recognizable role, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he returned to play Aaron Pierce inJack Bauer’s big screen adventure. Morshower’s most recent role was in the critically acclaimed AppleTV+ crime drama,Manhunt, about the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. After protecting presidents for years on24 asAgent Pierce, it was an ironic role reversal as Morshower was now playing the actual President, after Lincoln’s untimely death. It just showcased Morshower’s range as an actor, and now in his 70s, he shows no signs of calling time on his varied career.
Another career highlight was his 10 episode run in Netflix’s hit drama series,Bloodline, as the villainous Wayne Lowry.Aside from these roles, he has mostly played law enforcement officers and government agents.Before playing David Palmer’s protector in24, Morshower played a Secret Service agent toHarrison Ford’s best fictional president, James Marshall, in the classic 90s action movie,Air Force One. Ironically, he was joined by another24future alum, Xander Berkeley, as a fellow agent who ended up being a secondary villain in the movie. No casting announcements have been made for the24 Movie, but Agent Aaron Pierce is up there with the most heroic characters in the24universe, and he needs to come back.
