As you travel through the world ofMetaphor: ReFantazio, you’ll meet a lot of people who will become your followers and these are the people you can complete bond ranks with. Followers are this game’s version of social links, and while there are a few similarities between the two systems, it does also have a unique flavor.
In total, there are fourteen followers to unlock bonds with, each having 8 bond ranks to complete by spending time with that character. Completing bond ranks will unlock additional Archetypes of that lineage along with additional bonuses to help you on your journey. Here’s every bond, how to unlock them, and their Archetype lineage.

There are fourteen followers in total, and the game gives you more than enough free time to complete every rank with every follower beforereaching the point of no return.
On6/10, after defeating the boss in the Mausoleum
Thief
Junah
After reaching Virga Island, Junah will give you the side quest, “Save The Mourning Snakes”. Complete the quest to get her as a follower.
Masked Dancer
Eupha
After saving Euphain the Dragon Temple Dungeon, complete the side quest, “Trial Of Malnova” given by Eupha, with her bond beginning at the end of the dungeon.
Berserker
Neuras
On6/14Neuras will give you the quest, “Providing A Spark” which will begin his Bond.
Brawler
Alonzo
After reaching Martia, Culcus will begin the, “A Dagger, A Ring, and a Rake” quest which unlocks Alonzo’s bond.
Faker
Bardon
After completing the main story of Martira with thedeadline of 7/16, return to Martia to find him in the city square to begin his bond.
Commander
Brigitta
Find her near her Igniter shop in Grand Trad on6/12 or afterto begin, “A Bullish Embargo” with her bond unlocking after you turn the quest in.
