When it launches on Jul 07, 2025, the initial early access build ofAssetto Corsa Evowill feature 20 cars of varying performance and vehicle classes from a range of brands, Kunos Simulazioni co-founder and executive manager Marco Massarutto said in a recently released developer diary. While these automobiles were not identified, several manufacturers, many of which have appeared in other racing titles like theForza Motorsportgames, were referenced in the video, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

When Is the Early Access Release of Assetto Corsa Evo?

Five licensed tracks will be available during thegame’s early access period, namely the Laguna Seca Raceway (US), Brands Hatch (England), Imola Circuit (Italy), Mount Panorama Circuit (Australia), and Suzuka Circuit (Japan). This preview build will also feature the first part ofAssetto Corsa Evo’s single-player experience and its highly anticipated free-roam mode. Practice sessions, quick races, and the Driving Academy mode will be included in the single-player experience even in early access, according to Massarutto. He explained that players will be given the opportunity to study racetracks in Driving Academy, which is new to the franchise. They will also be able to obtain the required driver’s licenses for their dream vehicles from there whenAssetto Corsa Evo’s economy system goes live.

The free-roam mode, meanwhile, will allow players to drive across a re-creation of the mountainous Eifel region in Germany that surrounds the famous Nürburgring racing complex. In a recentblog post, theAssetto Corsa Evodev team said that the upcomingracing game’s open-world area, when finished, should span 1,600 square kilometers (618 square miles), or roughly the same size as the total land area of Houston, Texas. Kunos Simulazioni plans to releaseAssetto Corsa Evo’s open-world component in stages, with the first phase dropping in summer 2025.

The full version ofAssetto Corsa Evowill have 100 cars and 15 officially licensed circuits, according to Massarutto. The executive noted that the feedback gathered from the game’s early access period will help with refining gameplay, optimizing performance, and providing polish.
