Summary
Players are going to spend a lot of time inMarvel Rivalsfinding the right hero that they want to play as. This could come down to a variety of reasons, whether it be style of play or just which comic book characters they like the most. However, one thing players will need to be aware of is who their opponent is composing their team with, and what heroesthey could use to help counter that team.
This will be a constant thing for any players looking to go up againstHela, one of the more popular characters in the game after its recent launch. Thanks to her ability to dish out damage from a good distance away, Hela is proving to be a major headache for a lot of teams out there. Thankfully, there are some heroeswho can be great countersto Hela and her abilities.
8The Punisher
Shred Hela Instantly
The Punisheris a fantastic way to get Hela backed into a corner. Using his automatic rifle, he can rattle off accurate shots that willshred her health in a matter of moments. This can cause Hela to retreat quickly, opening up the battlefield for the team to take over a point while she’s gone.
He can also use his Turret ability to provide solid support on the point. When Hela comes back, the turret’s shots will do enough damage in a short amount of time thather retreat won’t even be possible.
7Captain America
Overwhelm Hela
Captain Americaisperfect for going on the offensive against Hela, as his health pool is much larger than the Queen of Hel’s. With this in his corner,Cap can be aggressiveand overwhlem her without having to worry about her wiping his health out first.
Plus, all of his attacks do a good amount of damage, including some AoE attacks that don’t require as much accuracy. Thismakes Cap a great counter to Hela’s abilities.
6Venom
Swing In For Damage
Theiconic, symbiote-infectedVenomis way more mobile than he looks. With his web-swinging abilities, he canquickly get into Hela’s spaceand start wreaking havoc on her. She won’t even know it’s happened until it’s too late.
Once he is close to her, Venom can also startdestroying her health barwith his strong attacks. It’s enough to make any character afraid, and Hela is no different, plus his Cellular Corrosion ability will make it difficult for her to escape his clutches.
5Hawkeye
Fight Fire With Fire
Sometimes a player just needs to fight fire with fire inMarvel Rivals, and that’s whatusingHawkeyewill do. Hawkeye has some similar abilities to Hela, mainly that both of them can really make life difficult for players withsome powerful shots from distance.
Being able topepper Hela with arrowscan easily frustrate the opposing player to the point where they will focus on Hawkeye rather than anyone else, which allows the rest of the team to focus on the objective.
4Luna Snow
Makes Hela Nothing
UsingLuna Snowis a tremendous way to take Hela out as quickly as possible. She uses some potent attacks that can shred Hela’s health in a matter of seconds, to the point whereHela will start trying to avoid Luna in a battle.
Plus, Luna Snow comes with a revive ability that willbring back any teammates Hela may take out. This can make things hard for Hela, as all her work is done for nothing, and she will surely get frustrated.
3Star-Lord
Hela Can’t Catch Him
Star-Lordis a quick characterwho relies on mobility to keep enemies guessing. This meansHela won’t be able to hit him very often,and that can cause some real frustration to boil up. If Hela can’t hit him, then she won’t be able to stop him from being a headache for her and her team.
Plus, Star-Lord’s attacks are pretty solid, so he won’t have tospend too much time whittling her health down. This also lessens any chance she has of retreating to find some health before falling to his shots.
2Magneto
Not Even A Scratch
Magnetocomes with some great defensive abilitiesthat make it really hard to take him down. As such, Hela can have a real problem with trying to beat him, asher attacks just bounce off of his metal shields. Not being able to land a hit makes it much harder for her to do what she does best from a distance and negates her best attributes.
Plus, Magneto has one incredible move called Meteor M, which, when summoned, can deal massive damage to his target. If the player is able to hit Hela with this meteor,she will likely go down immediatelyor be right on the doorstep.
1Jeff The Land-Shark
Hide Under The Surface
Jeff the Land Sharkis going to be great for getting to Helain a short amount of time. His ability to stay underneath the ground and “swim” over to his target with ease makes it hard to hit him. Sure, Hela may hit his dorsal fin, butthat is easier said than done.
Further, while he is submerged, Jeff can heal himself so that those few hits on his fin are made irrelevant. This means he can get to Hela, pop up with full health,and take her down.
