While Fugue has shifted her path and element, she retains a relatively support-oriented role, though this time she caters more to Break DMG-orientedteams involving characters like Firefly, Rappa, or Boothill. This shift makes her build fundamentally different from other FireNihility units like Jiaoqiuor Guinaifen, who serve distinct roles within team compositions.
This divergence is also evident in her light cone options, as Fugue benefits from a unique, albeit somewhat limited, selection of choices. Fortunately, players will find that some accessible F2P options align well with her needs, making it feasible to build her effectively without necessarily relying on her signature light cone inHonkai: Star Rail.

Effect Hit Rate isn’t as critical for Fugue as it is for some other characters, but maintaining around 60-70% Effect Hit Rate is still valuable to ensure she can reliably apply DEF reduction to high-level enemies. With sufficient Effect Hit Rate, Fugue will be able to consistently apply DEF reduction and generate energy on her own. However, its worth noting that this light cone doesn’t provide any additional team utility, which puts it lower than other options in this list.

A slightly better F2P option for Fugue isFermata, as it provides the Break Effect stat, which Fugue needs at around 220% or more to maximize her support potential.
