Summary

Many of the thousands ofPokemonthat make up thePokemonworld are based on real-life objects, animals, and themes. For example,Pokemonhas a long lineup of beasts resembling monkeys, such as Chimchar and Mankey.

One such real-life resemblance is martial artists, with several Pokemon in thefighting type class of Pokemonresembling combatants of various disciplines. While most of these are normal variants of Pokemon, some of them are, in fact, legendaries. Thus, some martial artist-based Pokemon are stronger than others in their skill and ability when battling. Despite this, most are brave warriors and second to none in their ability to fight.
