Summary
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6cheaters are using exploits to wield the Ray Gun from the Zombies game mode in multiplayer matches. While it’s unclear how players are doing it, it gives them a competitive advantage by using theCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Ray Gun in online matches.
Since the launch ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, players have been complaining about the cheating problem the game has. It was aparticularly big issue when Ranked Play launched inBlack Ops 6, with many cheaters hopping on to quickly climb the leaderboards. However, this problem has persisted beyond this, causing plenty of frustration for players who want to play fair. For the most part, these kinds of cheats involve wallhacks and aim hacks, although it seems that players now have to worry about facing the Ray Gun in multiplayer, too.

Redditor Remote-Animal5535 shared a clip from their multiplayer match, in which a player was running around and killing people with theCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Ray Gun. It’s interesting that the damage carries over from Zombies like usual, and proves to be just as deadly against other players as it is against the undead. It even has a kill-feed icon, which is a strange sight. Other players in the thread pointed out that this has happened in pastCall of Dutygames too, making it somewhat surprising that it hasn’t been resolved in the newest release.
Black Ops 6 Cheaters are Using the Ray Gun in Multiplayer
Another gamer claimed that this should be added in an official capacity as aCall of Duty: Black Ops 6scorestreak. It would be similar to the Hand Cannon in this regard, and while it wouldn’t make much sense visually, the inclusion of some particularly wildBlack Ops 6skins recently means that the Ray Gun wouldn’t look too out of place. It’s certainly an interesting idea, and would at least nullify the cheaters using this in the game at the moment.
There’s quite a lot on inBlack Ops 6at the moment. Treyarch recently added the popular Stakeout 24/7 playlist back to the game over the holiday season, allowing players to grind camos in close-quarters mayhem. There’s also the ongoingBlack Ops 6Archie’s Festival Frenzy event, which gives gamers the chance to earn in-game rewards by defeating enemies in multiplayer. It’s unknown at the moment when Treyarch will reveal Season 2 ofBlack Ops 6, but hopefully, it will come soon after Christmas.
