Lille Barro, The Closest to God
His Majesty’s Masterpiece
Lille Barro was the first Quincy to be granted a Schrifft by Yhwach. In his own words, he is the closest to God. His Majesty’s masterpiece. He considers himself to be above all others, a messenger of God himself. He demonstrates this with his otherworldly power and his devotion to his king. Being such an ancient Quincy and the first to gain power makes him special among the other Sternritter, and perhaps this is the reason for his extended Vollständig and immortality.
Most Sternritter have the ability to use Vollständig, a transformation that enhances their Schrifft and bestows them with special abilities in addition to that. Similar to a Soul Reaper’s Bankai or an Arrancar’s Resurrección. Lille uniquely possesses a second stage to his Vollständig: Jilliel. Similar to Cuatro Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer, as beyond his Resurrección: Murcielago, he has the extremely powerful Segunda Etapa, and he is the only one among the Espada with such a trait. Lille Barro is the same.

Lille received the full power of Head Captain Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai: Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinjuu. A Bankai that’s supposed to guarantee the death of his target. Even still,Lille rose again, further transforming into a draconic creature resembling cherubim,God’s fair angels. Lille grows a new head, with fair hair slicked back but the face of an owl, a long, snake-like neck with fur on the back, his shoes greatly extend, making him look like a centaur, and he regrows the arms he had lost in his Vollständig, but much larger, fitting his new form.
His Heiligschein is greatly reduced in size and his wings change shape, now resembling a bat instead of an insect-like before. His Heiligschein and wings now turn bright metallic gold, he seems to no longer have organs, flesh, or bones, as his insides are filled with pure light that damages his enemies if they come into contact with them. Finally, his voice changes, no longer having the deep, serene tone he originally had, but a high-pitched and distorted alien voice.
Lille Barro’s Final Form’s Abilities
Striking Down on the Sinners
In his final form,Lille is perhaps the strongest Quincy besides Yhwach. His powers are increased to such an extent that he is considered a divine being not just by himself, but also by Shunsui Kyoraku. Lille becomes the closest thing to a God in Bleach, just like Yhwach after absorbing Soul King Adnyeus. Besides amplifying his Schrifft, The X - Axis to the highest level, he gains a few more powerful abilities.
Light Generation:Lille can channel the light within his body to use it as a weapon. He can project dense golden light in the form of powerful beams that carrythe properties of Spatial Piercing of The X - Axis. With this light, Lille can destroy anything in his path, even large portions of a city, leaving no trace behind. He can also form it into a massive ball of light to remove every shadow from the environment in an attempt to counter Shunsui Kyoraku’s Kage Oni ability.
Sabaki no Kōmyō/Ray of Judgement:By raising one of his arms, Lille projects a divine golden light towards him, completely decimating part of one of the Wahr Welt’s cities, leaving big explosions along the path of the blast.
Trompete: Lille’s ultimate attack. Lille gathers a massive amount of Reishi to form a gigantic golden trumpet above that is larger than even himself. By sounding it with a tremendous musical tone, it shoots a giant X - Axis blast that annihilates anything in its path. Trompete was powerful enough to completely decimate the Wahr Welt city Lille, Shunsui, and Nanao were in. But it was also Lille’s doom, asNanao Ise’s Shinken Hakkyoken reflected it back at him, destroying the divine Quincy.
While Lille Barro’s final form has received mixed opinions from fans, it is easily one of Tite Kubo’s most creative designs in Bleach. Lille’s first stage of his Vollständig is based on the Biblically accurate angels, while his second and final stage is a distorted form of a cherub.Lille represents the zealot follower of a God, a complete fanatic who loses their own self in service of their deity.
