Concurrently, the nextBorderlandstitle was confirmed to be in the making, before getting a teaser in August at Gamescom 2024. Most recently, it received a full trailer at The Game Awards 2024 on December 12, revealing some of the game’s characters, such as the new Siren. Making the most of the little screen time the new Siren got inBorderlands 4’s first look, one dedicated fan took notes and impressively came up with an early cosplay of the character.
On Reddit, user jessilyncupcake shared their cosplay ofBorderlands 4’s new Siren, depicting the character in great detail. From the purple hair to the black trench coat to the unique pair of pants, they recreated every trait seen in the trailer for their cosplay. As it appears from the pictures, makeup was used to incorporate the distinctBorderlandsart style and also for creating the Siren’s pink tattoos. In one of their replies, jessilyncupcake revealed that this particular portrayal is their 20thBorderlandscosplay, highlighting their experience that seemingly came into play while recreating the new Siren’s look.
Borderlands 4 Siren Cosplay Impresses Series Fans, Garners Praise
Jessilyncupcake’s cosplay depicting the new Siren, one ofBorderlands 4’s freshly revealed characters, received several positive responses from the community. Fans of the series praised the work, calling it “awesome” and “incredible.” On the one hand, comments noted the passionateBorderlandsfan’s early cosplay of the newly revealed character, with one of them saying, “We don’t even know the character’s name and [sic] she’s already got cosplays.” On the other hand, some comments gave their approval of the cosplay’s accuracy, with one user saying that it “blends real and cartoon.”
