InBlack Ops 6, the popular Nuketown map received a holiday makeover with snow and plenty of decorations, and the map serves as the ideal location for the limited-time Ran-Snack game mode, which lets teams compete and collect cookies to reach the score limit.Black Ops 6’sArchie’s Festival Frenzy holiday eventis also live with 12 exclusive rewards to obtain by collecting Jolly Archies, which drop from enemy kills. Opening all rewards unlocks the new AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle, and players have the opportunity to fast track their progress by playing in Stakeout 24/7.
TheBlack Ops 6playlist was updated on December 19 to bring Stakeout 24/7 back, so players can now play on the popular Strike map to their heart’s content. In Stakeout 24/7, players may enjoy 6v6 matches with a variety of match types, including Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Domination. SinceStakeout is entirely set within a small apartment complex, players will be in constant gunfights until the end of a match. It’s unclear how long Stakeout 24/7 will be in the playlist, but this could be the ideal mode for players to quickly farm Jolly Archies and make progress toward unlocking the AMR Mod 4.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Playlist Update Brings Back Stakeout 24/7
The community’s response to Stakeout 24/7’s return appears to be mostly positive on Twitter, but some fans are asking Treyarch for a double XP weekend to accompany the mode. However,the latest double XP weekend inBlack Ops 6ended on December 16, so it’s unlikely that Treyarch will host another double XP weekend this soon. Others are also hoping that Treyarch will make Stakeout 24/7 a permanent mode, since Stakeout is one of the maps that players often vote for whenever it appears in playlist matchmaking.
Black Ops 6andWarzoneSeason 1 Reloadedis expected to end around June 29, 2025, so there will be more playlist updates to come before Season 2 arrives. Although Stakeout 24/7 is unlikely to become a permanent fixture of the playlist, there’s a chance that it could possibly return in Season 2, alongside other modes that fans have been clamoring for.
