Summary

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6players aren’t happy after discovering that a weapon blueprint for the PP-919 submachine gun is unusable when the equipped optic sight is removed. The Occult blueprint is featured in the Dark Practitioner bundle in bothCall of Duty: Black Ops 6andWarzone, and while it does come with an abundance of cosmetic items, one of the included blueprints appears to have a serious bug that would put the player at a massive disadvantage if used.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that theCall of Dutycommunity has discovered aserious issue with one ofBlack Ops 6’s weapon blueprints. Earlier this month, one player took to theBlack Ops 6subreddit to showcase how the Salutations BlackCell blueprint for the Saug SMG has a distracting flame right in front of the weapon when the equipped optic sight is removed. Although the weapon is perfectly usable with an optic sight, many players like to adjust their blueprints and remove the sight in order to equip a different attachment.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Angry After Purchasing Broken Blueprint

Just a few weeks on,Black Ops 6’s weapon blueprintsare once again causing controversy as Reddit user Still-Experience3419 is bringing attention to the Occult weapon blueprint for the PP-919. This blueprint is available for 2,400 COD Points as part of the Dark Practitioner bundle, and although it comes pre-equipped with an optic sight, it looks like removing the sight makes the weapon borderline unusable. As seen in the clip below, removing the sight seems to display floating blue fragments directly in front of the iron sight, making it incredibly distracting and obstructive for players in a gunfight.

Call of Duty’s blueprints are a quick and easy way for players to get their hands on weapons with pre-equipped attachments, with many of them also coming with unique camos that aren’t obtainable through any other means. Blueprints were first introduced in 2019’sModern Warfarereboot and have grown in popularity over the years. Unfortunately, the camos that come with these blueprints have slowly started to become more and more outlandish, fuelling the controversy aroundCall of Duty’s unrealistic cosmetic items and skins.

Despite players discovering numerous broken weapon blueprints and continued controversy around the game’s cosmetic items,Call of Duty: Black Ops 6has been a big success for publisher Activision and developer Treyarch. According to Activision,Black Ops 6has had the biggest launch month inCall of Dutyhistory, with the highest number of total players, hours played, and total matches in the game’s first 30 days.
