Call of Duty’s New Roped In Finishing Move Is Broken

In a new post on Twitter, user ElvisCOD brought attention to the broken “Roped In” finishing move from the newCall of DutyxSquid GameEvent Pass, showcasing how the execution does not actually finish opponents. As seen in the clip below, the player executes their opponent with the new finishing move equipped, only for the enemy to remain alive after the animation has completed. ElvisCOD tagged the officialCall of DutyUpdates account, so there’s hope that a fix for the issue will arrive in due course.

This isn’t the firstissue to come fromCall of Duty’s newSquid GameEvent Passeither, as fans have been taking to social media to express their disappointment with yet another Battle Pass being added to the game. Although there is a free version for players to earn specialSquid Gamerewards, many aren’t happy with the premium version, which costs 1,100 COD points. Some called it “unacceptable,” while certain players even said they were “done” withCall of Dutydue to the constant microtransactions.
