Supercell’sClash of Clansused to have only four hero cards for the main village, but the latest Town Hall 17 update introduced a new hero: the Minion Prince. Heroes aren’t your average troops—they’re stronger and more powerful than regular warriors. Now, players have a fifth hero to pick from in the main village and use in battles and Clan Wars.

How To Unlock Minion Prince Hero In Clash of Clans
As mentioned above, the Minion Prince is the fifth hero card (excludingBuilder Base heroes) that fans can unlock in the game. To get the Minion Prince Hero inClash of Clans, you need toupgrade your Hero Hall to level threeandyour Town Hall to level nine. This is much easier compared to unlocking the Grand Warden Hero and Royal Champion Hero, which require higher-level halls.
To begin, you’ll need to make your Town Hall stronger, as the Hero Hall becomes available only once you reach Town Hall level seven. So, focusing on leveling up your Town Hall should be your top priority.

To increase your Town Hall level to nine quickly, you need to upscale the required structures (including Army, Defenses, Resources, and Traps) and train your troops. Here are some tips to help speed up the process:
How To Level Up Hero Hall To Level Three
Once you hit Town Hall level seven, you’ll be able to build the Hero Hall from the Army section under the Building & Traps screen. Like all structures in the game, Hero Hall will also cost you in-game currency. After placing it, you may keep upgrading the hall until you get to level three. After fulfilling all the aforementioned requirements, the Minion Prince Hero will be unlocked for you. you may find the Minion Prince Hero by clicking on the Hero Hall in theClash of Clans. Moreover, if you already have higher Town Hall and Hero Hall levels in the game, the Minion Prince will be automatically unlocked to pick for battles in the Hero Hall.
How To Use The Minion Prince Hero
To use the Minion Prince Hero inClash of Clans, head to the Hero Hall and click on the ‘Sword’ or ‘Shield’ icon above its banner. Choosing theSword iconmakes him an attacking hero, while theShield iconturns him into a defending hero for your village. In wars, the Hero slots decide the order in which your attacking heroes join the battle so you can rearrange them as needed.
To change the hero order, go back to the Hero Hall, tap the ‘Double Swords’ icon at the bottom, and place Minion Prince in any slot under the Heroes tab in the Army section. After that, you’re all set to request war and watch him in action. If you’re using Minion Prince for defense,he’ll only protect the area around his flag. To swap his flag, click the second icon on the bottom bar in the Hero Hall, tap ‘View Hero Banners,’ and pick any flag to assign him there. Minion Prince is an air unit, so he’s solid for both attacking and defending roles.
Once in battle, Minion Prince can hit enemies with his Dark Orb ability, where he fires an ice crystal that freezes nearby tiles and deals good damage. He also has the Henchmen Puppet ability, which summons two minions to take down buildings and increase his health. Both abilities are part of his commonHero Equipmentthat comes unlocked with him. You can check equipment stats by clicking the Blacksmith icon in the Hero Hall.
