Ever since its premiere in October 2024,Dandadanhas been among the most talked-about anime series. It has been in the news weekly and for all the right reasons. The first season of the anime aired the final episode on Jul 05, 2025, and immediately afterward they made a major announcement.
It was confirmed that Dandadan has been renewed for a second season.Dandadan’s second season will be released in July 2025. This is big news for fans, as they won’t have to wait too long to see their favorites back on their screens.

Dandadan Season 2 Release Date
As previously stated, Dandadan season two is slated for release in July 2025. It will air in the same month as Sakamoto Days' second part. The second season of the anime will see Okarun, Momo, and the entire gang return tobattle Yokai and UFOs.

Okarun finished in the top spot after accumulating 38,699 votes, while Momo ended up in second place with more than 25,000 votes. Some of the characters from the top 10 have not made their debut in the anime, but that might change with the second season.
Dandadan’s Fame Is On The Rise
Dandadan is written by Yukinobu Tatsu, and it began serializing in April 2021 on the Shonen Jump+ app. The manga’s popularity has been on the rise, and the anime adaptation is only going to help it grow. Dandadan has sold more than 5 million copies, which is a decent number. Given the quality of the anime, this number is imminent to increase.
Dandadan’s anime adaptation was announced in 2023.The anime began airing in October 2024, and it ran for 12 episodes. Dandadan’s second season was announced right after the finale of the first. Currently, there is no information about the episode count or any additions to the cast. But it has been stated that more details will be disclosed in the future.
