Dark Souls 3is arguably the best entry in FromSoftware’s epic trilogy, as it features the best graphics, amazing bosses, and superb DLCs that complement the base game wonderfully. One of the most popular practices in this title is soul farming, which allows players to level up quickly and make the challenges they’ll face much simpler.

However, what happens when you level up enough and then decide to try outa weapon like the Farron Greatswordor a build you were interested in, only to realize it’s underwhelming? In that case, you’ll need torespecand reallocate your character’s attributes. This sounds simple enough, but figuring it out can be tricky. Here’show to respec inDark Souls 3.

How To Respec In Dark Souls 3

Respeccing inDark Souls 3is fairly simple and straightforward. However, given that the NPC needed to do so is in a hidden location, it can sometimes be hard for players to figure it out. To respec inDark Souls 3, you’ll have to find Rosaria, who is secluded inside theCathedral of the Deep. If you’ve already cleared the entire Cathedral of the Deep area, you can take the following steps:

A clear sign that you’ve jumped onto the right platform is that you’ll encounter a bunch of slugs whose attacks are fairly weak, but their numbers are strong. You should be careful when you reach the area, as, at first, it will seem like there’s just a single slug, but several more will appear behind you when you’re not looking. Once you’ve made quick work of them, you’ll have to push open the two big doors to your right, which are adorned by a golden, bent cage. This will reveal a new bonfire called “Rosaria’s Bed Chamber”, and behind it, you’ll find Rosaria.

Now, reaching Rosaria is just half of the work. In order to respec, you’ll also need to offer her Pale Tongues. These are an uncommon item to come by, so you’ll need to try a few different methods to farm them if you’re thinking about respeccing often in your playthrough. It should be noted that you can only respec, or be “reborn,” five times per playthrough, which means that if you want a sixth one, you’ll have to start NG+.

How To Get Pale Tongues

The easiest and quickest way to get Pale Tongues is by killing the target of a Red Orb Invasion in PvP. However, if you’re not into PvP, you’re able to also farm them in PvE by killing Darkwraiths, although the drop rate is considerably lower. That said, farming Darkwraiths can bea good option for farming Soulsat lower levels, even if defeating the spine-chilling creatures is quite challenging. A great spot for farming Darkwraiths is the Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire, as it’s close to two of these creatures and you won’t have to traverse long distances if you die. Feel free to use any luck-boosting items to increase the potential Pale Tongue drop rate.
