Disney Dreamlight Valley’ssecond expansion, Storybook Vale, has introduced fans to the massive world of Storybook Vale. This world has three magical biomes with individually unlocked areas and many new items and fish. But not everything you reel in is a fish. You can also fish up some items like Posidonia, which can be used for crafting, kind of likePlastic Scrap from A Rift in Time.
There’s not much you can do with Posidonia inDreamlight Valleysince it’s only used in a few crafting recipes. However, players will need it to complete some early quests in Storybook Vale. So, it’s good to know where to find it, and that’s exactly what this guide will show you.
How to Get Posidonia in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Getting Posidonia is pretty easy once you know its location. First, head over tothe Mythopia biomeand find a water body. To catch it, fans will need tofish in spots without bubbles. Make sure to avoid casting your line in blue, white, or golden ripples since those will give you fish like Hippocampus and Stygian Mudskipper.
While fishing for Posidonia, you might end up catching some Flying Fish too, as they’re also found in non-bubble spots in Mythopia. Don’t worry, though, because you will still reel in plenty of Posidonia along the way. If you like decorating your valley, it would be a good idea to collect a large amount of Posidonia since it’s super easy to get.
Furthermore, make sure to bring a fishing buddy. They can give you extra Posidonia whenever you catch one. Just talk to a character and pick the ‘Let’s hang out’ option. If you don’t see that option, it might be because their friendship level isn’t at least level two, so work on that first.
How to Use Posidonia in Dreamlight Valley
Players will need Posidonia to complete some quests inDreamlight Valley. For example, it’s used to make Flower Extract during Flynn Rider’sAn Old-Fashioned Heist quest,and you’ll also need to give five pieces to Hades for hisMythic Restoration friendship quest.
