FromSoftware has long been touted as a suitable studio to be snapped up by PlayStation, with Sony already owning a 14% share in the developers.
The acquisition of From Software isn’t the only thing that could be beneficial for Sony. The Japanese company has been busy building its portfolio in the anime space, which includes the streaming service Crunchyroll.
