In a new post on theElden Ringsubreddit, user clashteamracing showcased an interesting way in which they took down the first boss in the game. In the video, the player tries to corner Margit towards the end of the arena with the help ofSorcerer Rogier inElden Ring. After staggering Margit, the player continues to attack him, and Margit jumps to evade the attack. However, Margit never lands back after jumping, which leaves the player confused. Eventually, they figure out that Margit actually fell from the cliff, which is an incredibly rare and borderline impossible sight. This is becauseElden Ringhas numerous invisible walls that prevent bosses from going outside the boundary of their arena. In fact, commenters highlighted that many have tried to do this to Margit in the past, but weren’t successful.

Redditor Ok_Tennis_7132 made a hilarious comment stating that the incident showed the boss truly embodying their name, with players dubbing the foe “Margit, the Omen Fell”, in a funny rearrangement of his name. Another user highlighted how the player put Margit’s “foolish ambitions to rest,” a phrase that Margit says after defeating the Tarnished. One thing is for sure: fans seem to have loved seeingMargit getting defeated inElden Ringin such a surprising way, as he has given a lot of newcomers trouble in the early game.
