Redditor PlasticSurgeon0911 shared their incredibleFallout: New VegasNES cartridge, which is a great homage to the RPG. It has a pixel art depiction ofFallout: New Vegas' NCR Rangerfront and center, and the Nintendo logo has been replaced with the SPECIAL tagline from the games. There are tons of details here that make it feel like it could have been pulled directly from the 1980s. It also has been given a coat of dirt and grime, making it feel like it has been through the Mojave Wasteland itself.

On the back side of the cartridge, there’s even an imprintedFalloutVault-Teclogo, showcasing PlasticSurgeon0911’s amazing attention to detail. When asked what was actually on the cartridge, PlasticSurgeon0911 confirmed that it was a blank. However, this would still be an excellent addition to anyFalloutfan’s collection.

It’s not quite clear what the future holds forFallout. It’s no secret that Bethesda is busy withThe Elder Scrolls 6, and the wait for a new mainline entry in the series already extends to over nine years.WhileFallout: New Vegas 2seems like a pipe dream now, Bethesda passing the franchise off to another developer in the meantime is undoubtedly an interesting prospect and would solve the issue of allowing the games to sit dormant for years.This is purely speculation, though, and there is currently no indication that this is an option for Bethesda and theFallout​​​​​​franchise at the moment.
