According toDeadline,Final Destination: Bloodlineswill be released on May 16th, 2025. Although there is no confirmation of the plot from the writers or other filmmakers, several publications say that the story centers around a main character named Stefani, whose grandmother almost died in a tower accident.Fans have ideas about what they want to see inFinal Destination 6, and even without plot details, it’s possible to havea wish list for the sixth installment.

Lori Evans Taylor andGuy Busick, who is known for writingScream(2022),Scream 6, andReady Or Not, penned the script.Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky are directing. It will be interesting to see ifFinal Destination: Bloodlineshas the same kind ofpowerful ending asReady Or Not, which has a lot of twists and turns throughout the movie as well.
In an interview withEntertainment Weekly, Busick andScream 6co-writer James Vanderbilt shared that they put in a lot of Easter eggs for the passionate fandom. This leads to the question of whether Busick has done the same with his script forFinal Destination: Bloodlines. Since the originalFinal Destinationcame out in 2000, audiences have been enjoying these movies for years, and would definitely love some jokes about past characters or storylines. For instance, there should be a line aboutthe infamous log scene fromFinal Destination 2.Devon Sawa won’t be inFinal Destination: Bloodlines, but there should be some mentions of his character Alex Browning. He had the first vision of a plane crash, after all. While learning about new characters is fun, it’s also nice to hear about a old favorite.
In an oral history of theFinal Destinationfranchise withDigital Spy, creator Jeffrey Reddick talked about deciding on what kill scenes would be included. He said:
“The set pieces and the way that Death gets people is fun to watch. We tried very hard to come up with scenarios that every day people find themselves in, and play on those fears.”
Horror fans have a lot of nostalgia forScream 7,the upcomingI Know What You Did Last Summersequel, andFinal Destination: Bloodlines.As long as there isa frightening opening scene, a few characters to cheer on despite the fact that Death is chasing them, and some truly surprising kills, fans will be pleased with the sixth entry in the franchise. And they will definitely hope for moreFinal Destinationmovies.
