During the race to be formally cemented not just as 2024’s Game Rant Community Game of the Year, but also as Game Rant’s first-ever Community Game of the Year, voters had plenty of positive things to say aboutFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
While there were certainly plenty of games this year that put up a fight against Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, fans made their voice heard in Game Rant’s Community Game of the Year vote and chose it as their champion.

They nailed it.” Another user—Kirbroski—stated, “It’s a reallyfaithful remake, while introducing so many different mechanics, and it’s just one of the most iconic video games ever.” Many cited the emotional impactFF7 Rebirthhad on them, with another user, Michael, saying, “Since I completed the game back in March, I’ve been almost non-stop thinking about what will come next. This project and these developers making it come true feel like we’ve caught lightning in a bottle. A dream come true.”
