According toHYPEX, who is a prominent leaker in theFortnitecommunity, Epic Games is gearing up to release the game’s next major update on December 10. While this update will likely include preparations for the upcoming Winterfest event, HYPEX also states that it will bring with it new gameplay and visual bug fixes andFortnite’s highly-anticipated first-person 5v5 mode. The mode was leaked shortly after the release of Chapter 6 Season 1, as new game files were added that included details on weapons and a first-person view. Although there has yet to be a reveal by Epic Games, HYPEX claims that the mode could be released with the game’s upcoming update.
FortniteChapter 6 Season 1 was, generally, a big hit with players. However, Epic was forced to make somemajor changes toFortnite’s XP rewardsearlier this week after massive backlash from the community.
