Letterboxd has officially revealed its highest-rated animations. 2024’s highest-rated animated movie on Letterboxdis revealed to be Look Back.The animation for Look Back is taken from the one-shot web manga released by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Fans might know Tatsuki Fujimoto more for his hugely successful work Chainsaw Man.
The film adaptation of this one shot was done by Studio Durian and made its debut in June of 2024.
What is Look Back About?
Look Back, written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, follows the story of Ayumu Fujino, a talented, but young elementary school artist. Her meeting with Kyomoto, a very talented artist, changes the course of her life. At first there are some tensions from Fujino’s side, but they eventually become friends and draw together.
