Fans seem very excited about Xiangling’s new outfit, especially since she’s one of the most popular four-star units inGenshin Impact. In fact, according to the Spiral Abyss usage rate data, Xiangling is likely the most used four-star unit in the game alongside Mondstadt’s Bennett. The main difference between the two outfits is the color theme: Xiangling’s original outfit features a brown and yellow combination, while the new skin resembles a Christmas-inspired jacket.
Genshin Impact Players Could Get Xiangling’s Skin for Free
According to multiple sources, the new Xiangling skin will be handed out for free duringGenshin Impact’s upcoming Lantern Rite Festival. This comes as no big surprise, considering that HoYoverse has offered many skins for free in the past. While the majority of fans seem to like the new free skin, the only complaint they have is that HoYoverse should have also equipped Xiangling’s friend Guoba with a matching outfit. Guoba is an integral part of Xiangling’s design, as he can be deployed using her Elemental Skill.
One of the main reasons behind Xiangling’s popularity is her ability to fit into any team composition that requires strong Pyro application. Despite being a four-star unit, Xiangling’s ability to consistently deal Pyro damage with her Elemental Burst is nearly unmatched by any otherPyro character inGenshin Impact.
Genshin Impacthas confirmed that Xiangling will not be the only Liyue character to receive a new outfit inGenshin ImpactVersion 5.3. The 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, better known as Hu Tao, will also receive a new outfit.
