For example, the first Archon to appear in the game wasGenshin Impact’s Anemo user Venti, who was paired with Jean, the Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, a character arguably just as important to the Mondstadt region, at least in the current timeline. Liyue’s Ningguang is the only character on the list with a lower four-star rarity.

The post gained significant attention in the community, with many fans claiming that Natlan needs a Pyro character who would complement Mavuika both in terms of the story and gameplay. It would not be surprising if HoYoverse decides to introduce such a powerful character in the later stages of the Natlan arc, especially sincerecentGenshin Impactleaksrevealed that Capitano won’t be joining the roster, at least not for now.
Some of these “sidekick” characters have been rumored to be even more powerful than their Archon counterparts. One prime example is Fontaine’s Neuvillette, who is also known as one ofGenshin Impact’s Seven Sovereigns. Since Mavuika’s kit reveal, players have been complaining about her abilities being more restrictive compared to previously released Archons, who are known for their versatility in fitting almost any team composition.
Some fans have suggested that this new character could have excellent synergy withGenshin Impact’s Natlan Archonin battle, potentially addressing some of these concerns. According to the comment section, Natlan’s first Archon, also known as Xbalanque, would be the perfect character to fill this role.
