After confirming that the two five-star units will appear on the same banner, HoYoverse has now revealed the rest of the lineup that will be featured in the Limited Character Banner.
The game’s official Twitter account has revealed the character lineups for both the first and second banner phases ofGenshin ImpactVersion 5.3. According to the announcement, the second part of the update will feature reruns of two popular five-star units: Arlecchino and Clorinde. Both of these characters were introduced during the Fontaine arc. Arlecchino, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, played the main antagonist role in Fontaine’s primary storyline. Since her debut, she has become a fan favorite due to her unique kit and status as an S-tier pick for the main DPS role inGenshin Impact.

Overall, fans don’t seem too pleased with the four-star lineup in the first banner phase, as it includes Bennett and Diona, two characters that have been part of the game since its release in 2020. Kachina is the only four-star character in this phase who was introduced during the ongoingNatlan arc inGenshin Impact.
Many players are also confused by HoYoverse’s decision to feature both five-star releases in the first banner phase, as the game typically spreads new five-star characters across the two banner cycles. The likely reason for this choice is the return of the main storyline toGenshin Impact’s Liyue regionin the second part of the update, which coincides with the Lantern Rite Festival.
The new four-star character, Lan Yan, featured in the second banner phase, will also be available for free during the Lantern Rite event, along with many otherrewards inGenshin Impact5.3. However, players will need to act quickly, as this free copy of Lan Yan is expected to be available only for the duration of the update.
