Now, a fakeGTA 6leak was shared by a user called luhaxel on social media, achieving over 14 million views in two days. The “leak” shows an image of one of theGTA 6protagonists, Lucia, in a strip club dressed as one of the performers. However, when looking carefully at the image, it’s possible to see that it was made by AI when considering that one character has too many legs and arms, a classic telltale sign of AI. The detail is hard to see, however, and multiple gamers were seemingly tricked by the fake image.

The main reason why the fake leak became so popular is likely due to Rockstar’s silence about the upcoming game.Fans were theorizing that Rockstar would unveilGTA 6’s Trailer 2 on December 27, for example, which didn’t happen, enraging the fan base.
At the moment, thecurrent theories point out theGTA 6trailer coming out on January 7, tying it to the end of the Rockstar Holiday Sale. However, it’s essentially impossible to tell when the reveal will happen, as only the staff at Rockstar knows the answer and they may not be cryptically teasing a release date at all.
In any case,GTA 6is themost eagerly awaited game of 2025, and if Rockstar does not delay it into 2026, the marketing campaign will likely have to pick up the pace soon.
