Asaba Harumasa is not only the first limited character offered forFREEbyZenless Zone Zero, but also has quite the unique skill set amongsthis peers in Section 6. He’s also the firstlimitedAttack type male Agent the game has seen with quite a traumatic background.

Harumasa’s kit is pretty intricate as his additional ability is what determines how decent he does on the field, and this is solely based on other Anomaly and Stun characters. His team comps are very versatile in comparison to otherZZZcharacters, as usually, you’ll need to put characters who have the same Attribute or Speciality on the same team to trigger the additional abilities. Here’s an idea of what you may do with team comps when it comes to Harumasa.

Harumasa + Rina + Qingyi

4Harumasa + Rina + Qingyi

When creating teams with Harumasa, he is ideally going to be your Main DPS, so you will need to find characters that will help with his rotation and work well for him. Luckily, since he’s quite versatile, if players haveQingyiandRina, they’ll be able to capitalize on the Electric Crit team. You’ll need to focus on anAttack-Stun-Supportcombination that will trigger Harumasa’s additional ability. Qingyi is your best-in-slot Electric Stun character to use, but if you’re on a budget,Anby does a good job as well. Quite frankly, any Electric Stun Agent will work hereas Harumasa will require that sort of synergy.

For the Support slot, you can useRina, but if you don’t have her, using either Lucy, Nicole, or Seth is fine too. Unfortunately, this slot is a little bit more restrictive, since players can take advantage of Rina’s short uptime during Harumasa’s short on-field time, and keep switching back and forth to build up synergy.

Harumasa + Yanagi + Caesar

3Harumasa + Yanagi + Caesar

It might be quite surprising to hear, but Harumasa does exceptionally well with Anomaly characters on his team. Creating an Electric Anomaly team withYanagiwill help increase the Shock DMG and in turn maximize Harumasa’s Quiver stack. Essentially, you can useany Anomaly character of the same element, so even Grace works with him too. This will purely be for anElectric Anomaly team, but if you want to maximize on Anomaly in general,Burnice or Piper works just as well.

To complete the team, the options are pretty flexible, but Caesar might be your best bet simply because she’s of a different element. Furthermore, she has low field time and her shield does wonders during battle. You can even swap her out for eitherSeth, Rina, Lighter, Anby, Lycaon, Qingyi or Koleda. They all work decently because at the end of the day, you will want to focus more on swapping between Harumasa and Yanagi/Grace to maximize the Anomaly output. You can also always make sure that your third character helps increase that Anomaly Proficiency, so that Harumasa will not lose out on any buffs.

Harumasa + Nicole + Anby

2Harumasa + Nicole + Anby

This team is essentially Cunning Hares 2.0 and is mainly for any new players in the game. Since Harumasa is free, you can always pair him with Anby, who is also free in the game. She’sa great Stun Agentthat will not only help Harumasa with his skills but also trigger his additional ability, since they are of the same element.

Nicole, on the other hand, is a great pair to switch back and forth between Anby and then Harumasa, so that the applied Attack will be increased once the enemies are Stunned. This is a F2P team as well, so if you want to use Harumasa, try this rotation out. If you don’t have Nicole, any other Support character like Soukaku or Lucy works just as great.

Harumasa + Seth + Lighter

1Harumasa + Seth + Lighter

If you want to forget about maximizing on Harumasa’s capability in an Anomaly team, you can always shift to Stun and use Agents likeLighter or Lycaonto create that synergy. They’ll ideally be placed in the third slot so that you can gain his additional ability when Seth goes in the middle. Using an on-field Stun character here will further help maximize the DMG output, so feel free to swap the men out for either Qingyi or Anby. This will make the team mono-electric and Harumasa does amazingly well here too.

Harumasa is the best on the field during an enemiesStunwindow, so as long as you place him in a Stun-centric team, he’ll do the maximum DMG after his attack marks an enemy.
