The fan explained they used the Bambu Lab P1S printer to create the helmet, and the piece was printed in seven parts: the top, back, mouthpiece, eyepiece, two vents, and visor. Furthermore, the creator held all the pieces together using magnets, so it’s easy to remove. There’s a litany ofgreat armor perks inHelldivers 2, but none quite capture the added touch of custom-made magic.

Additionally, the creator noted they used files on Bambu’s Maker World website to print the finished product, and compliments flooded in, particularly about the visor. Since the visor is slightly transparent, one Redditor thought the creator used staring eyes from a popularHelldiversmeme to create the same effect, but the creator confirmed it’s their eyes that are visible. Others remarked that the fan’s custom helmet was a sign of democracy spreading, riffing off ofHelldiver’s 2missions that are frequently centered around spreading democracyand fighting for it.
