A newHonkai: Star Railleak has revealed tons of details about a new character named Tribbie, who is expected to join the roster in update 3.1. Even thoughHonkai: Star Rail3.0 has not yet arrived, the game’s social media accounts have already announced new roster additions for the next update.
Developer HoYoverse previously confirmed that Tribbie will have a five-star rarity and will follow the Path of Harmony. Tribbie won’t be the only new five-star character to arrive inHonkai: Star Rail3.1, as the game’s official social media accounts also revealed the arrival of Mydei.
A credibleHonkai: Star Railleaker named Uncle Guoba hasrevealeda lot of information about Tribbie’s kit. According to the leak, Tribbie will be asupport character inHonkai: Star Rail. However, she will also be able to deal higher amounts of damage compared to older DPS characters and, after using Tribbie’s Ultimate, she will provide an aura effect for her teammates. The leak also suggested that Tribbie can provide many different effects, including boosting damage output for her party members as well as reducing DEF and resistance of her enemies. Finally, Tribbie will not provide Advance Action or Energy Regeneration buffs and instead perform a follow-up attack, dealing damage to multiple targets, if a team member uses their Ultimate.
Honkai: Star Rail: Tribbie Role and Release Date Expectations
The fact that she’s aHarmony character inHonkai: Star Railindicates that Tribbie will probably still be used in the support role despite being able to deal a lot of damage. At the moment, there is not much official information about Tribbie other than that she’s expected to arrive in the next update. The official announcement revealed that Tribbie is also known as the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, a divine creature split into multiple personalities.
Her official splash art portrays three of them: Tribbie the Messenger, Trianne the Gatekeeper, and Trinnon the Priest. Some previous leaks also suggested that Tribbie will have great synergy withHonkai: Star Rail’s The Herta, who is most powerful when placed in a team where she can use her follow-up attacks as often as possible.
When it comes to Tribbie’s release, HoYoverse has not revealed any official dates. However, considering that she was announced before Mydei, it indicates that Tribbie could be featured in the first banner cycle of thenextHonkai: Star Railupdate, which should drop at the end of February.
