Akivili seems different from the other Aeons in the fact that they attempt to level with their followers from time to time. Therefore, it was a devastating loss for the Astral Express Crew when the Aeon suddenly disappeared without a trace.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Data Bank indicates that Akivili’s destiny was cut short by a certain “accident.” Meanwhile, Himeko, the Astral Express’ current navigator, says that the Aeon might be deceased. Kafka also disclosed during the Xianzhou arc that Nous, the Aeon of thePath of Erudition, may know what truly happened to Akivili. When the Aeon seemingly died, the Astral Express eventually became inactive for some time until a young Himeko found it and repaired it to its former glory. Now, she leads a new generation of Astral Express crew members and carries on Akivili’s legacy by following the Path of the Trailblaze.
