How Does Rage Work In Path of Exile 2
Rage is a bonus that can be found on support gems or on gear. No matter how it is attached to your character, Rage will build up stacks every time you deal damage to an enemy with a melee hit. There are a few other options in how you build Rage, but it’s usually with melee attacks. Rage can get up to 30 stacks active at once, andeach stack makes your character deal 1% more attack damage. You can check how many stacks of Rage you have by checking the icon that appears along the far left corner of your hot bar.
While Rage is built up by dealing damage to enemies, active stacks willstart to go away if you don’t take damage or if your melee attacks stop hitting enemiesfor two seconds. After those two seconds, your stacks will quickly go away one at a time. The total number of stacks you get from a melee attack is determined by any active buff on your character that builds up rage, meaning you can stack Rage-generating boosts to get many stacks with only one attack.
