Citadelle Des Morts arrived withBlack Ops 6Season 1 Reloaded, thrusting players into the next chapter of the Zombies storyline, as they embark on a mystical quest to find an amulet within the ruins of a medieval castle. Players will battle the undead and other abominations in this thrilling map, all while uncovering many secrets as they progress throughthe map’s main Easter Egg quest.
The Citadelle Des Morts main Easter Egg is packed with challenging puzzles, from attuning the Points of Power tobending light beams to uncover a mysterious brooch. However, one of the most challenging steps isconfiguring the Summoning Circle Rings, a critical puzzle for obtaining the Balmung Elemental Sword.
How To Configure The Summoning Circle Rings on Citadelle Des Morts
Before players can configure the Summoning Circle Rings toobtain the Balmung Elemental Sword, they must firstacquire two items: the Raven Bastard Sword, obtained from the Raven Knight Statue in the Dining Hall by offering it a Stamp, andan Antiquity, located in the Alchemical Lab. The locations of both items will be displayed on-screen for those playing in Directed Mode.
Once players have obtained an Antiquity on Citadelle Des Morts, they will be tasked withactivating the Summoning Circleto acquire the Balmung Elemental Sword. The Summoning Circle islocated in the Tavern Cellar, directly opposite the fast travel point to the Entrance Hall. Players will then need to place the Antiquity they have acquired, along with the Bastard Sword acquired from the Raven Statue, into the Summoning Circle by pressing the Interact Button.
Once done, players can then configure the Summoning Circle Rings, one displaying the symbols of different elements, while the other boasts signs of the Zodiac. The key here is to rotate the rings so that the Zodiac and the elementalsymbols closest to the arrow at the bottomof the puzzlematch that of the Antiquity inserted into the Summoning Circle.
As there are five Antiquities, there are five possible solutions to this puzzle. Here is a quick breakdown of all the possible solutions:
Match the upside-down triangle with the Scorpio Zodiac sign.
Raven Skulls
Match the triangle, with a line crossed through it, with the Gemini Zodiac sign.
Once complete, players canproceed with the rest of the ritual, luring shadow orbs into three different portals within the Tavern. Afterward, players can return to the Tavern Cellar andinteract with the Summoning Circle to acquire Balmung.
