How to Deal with Shoplifters in Supermarket Together

Thefirst step in dealing with shoplifters inSupermarket Togetheris to identify them. Thankfully, this part is straightforward but requires some attention.Shoplifters always have a unique icon over their heads. They will go up to your product shelves, and instead of coming over to the checkout register, they’ll start walking toward the exit. Sometimes, they’ll also give snarky comments as they start to walk out.

Athigher difficulty settings, shoplifters spawn more frequently.

Here’s what you can do to stop them and recover your products:

Hit them With a Broom

You’ll find plenty of Brooms in and around your store inSupermarket Together. When you spot a shoplifter trying to leave your store with your products, you can simply hit them with a Broom. They will fall to the ground each time you hit them and drop some of the stolen goods. Keep beating them to recover all your money.

They’ll simply leave the map if you don’t do anything.

Install Anti-Theft Doors

As you get to the later stages of the game and are dealing with a huge crowd of customers, it becomes difficult to check for the shoplifter icon on each of them. In that case, installing some anti-theft doors at the entrances is better. When a shoplifter walks out of your store with these installed at the door, they will beep loudly, alerting you of an ongoing robbery. So you’re able to take out your broom and run after the thief before they can escape.

Assign a Security

InSupermarket Together, you’re able to hire employees and assign various tasks to them. By assigning an employee to take care of security, you won’t have to worry about chasing down shoplifters yourself. The employee will take a broom and stand guard near the entrance to chase down any robbers walking out of your store. If you’replaying with your friends, you don’t even need an employee for this job.

Make sure the employee has a high-security rating when hiring them.

Install Security Cameras

you may place security cameras in different parts of your store to reduce the chance of shoplifters and robbers. While they don’t directly stop shoplifters, having them around your store will passively reduce the chance of robbery in your store.

Set Up Multiple Checkouts

Having a long queue in front of the checkout counter in your superstore can make your customers impatient. At one point, some customers won’t wait in line and simply attempt to leave the store without paying. Of course, you can stop them by hitting them with a broom, but the better approach would be to simply set up multiple checkout counters.

Installing self-checkout terminals can increase the chance of robberies inSupermarket Together.
