WhileMiSideis a pretty short game, there are plenty of collectibles hidden throughout its chapters. Hunting down these collectibles can add more to your experience, whether you want todress up the Mitas in cute outfitsor uncover hidden backstories. The game features tenPlayer Cartridgesthat you can access from the Characters tab in the main menu. Finding each one gives you more insight into what happened to the Players who visited Mita’s virtual world before you. So it’s always worth going the extra mile to discover them for the added lore.
However, finding all the cartridges can be pretty difficult if you don’t know exactly where to look. They are pretty easy to miss, and with Crazy Mita constantly hunting you, players can’t expect to find all of them in their first playthrough. That’s where we come in. In this guide, we’ll pinpointthe exact location of each Player Cartridge inMiSideso you can uncover the full story.
All Player Cartridge Locations in MiSide
The Player Cartridges inMiSideare spread throughout the game’s different chapters. But since the game gives you the option to replay specific chapters from the main menu, we recommend finishing one complete playthrough first. That way, you’ll have all the chapters unlocked and can collect whichever Player Cartridges you have missed out on during your playthrough.
There are a total of 10 Player Cartridges that you’re able to collect. The following table will show you how to get your hands on each of them.
Player 2
Beyond the World
After the sequence where you chase the mini people, you’ll take a ladder to reach an endless hallway. Turn left and keep moving forward until you see a white box on the ground. The Player 2 Cartridge will be on top of the box.
Player 3
The Basement
When you reach the Basement, walk down the stairs and enter the first room you see in front of you. Turn right to find the Player 3 Cartridge on a shelf beside two jars.
Player 4
The Loop
The Loop is one of the creepier chapters inMiSide, where you’ll be stuck moving through a room with two doors on each side endlessly. You’ll eventually encounter a short combat sequence. After this, when you re-enter the room, check the white table on your left. You’ll find the Player 4 Cartridge beside the Flower Vase.
Player 5
Mini Mita
This chapter starts with you helping out Mini Mita in a miniature house/forge. After crafting the Giant Key, you’ll be able to use it to unlock the door on the left to reach the 1.15 Game World. Head towards the large bookcase in one corner of the living room and pick up the Player 5 Cartridge from the top shelf.
Player 6
Reboot
Play through the chapter normally until you reach the point where you go back down to the Basement to enter the Player ID. Instead of using the Computer, go up to the Portal Console. The Player 6 Cartridge will be waiting for you on the Scanner.
Player 7
Reading Books, Destroying Glitches
This is an interesting chapter with plenty of clever puzzles for you to solve, including one that involves hunting down a carrot. You’ll have to play some mini-games to destroy the glitches that appear in the house. After destroying the first Glitch, you’ll find Mita showering in the Bathroom. She will yell at you and once you leave, and she will follow you out to the bedroom. At this point, head back inside the bathroom and pick up the Player 7 Cartridge sitting on one of the shelves near the door.
Player 8
Old World
Once you reach The Core in the chapter Old World, turn left immediately after entering the restricted barrier. You’ll find the Player 8 Cartridge on the chair in a blue bucket. Look carefully, it can be pretty hard to spot in the dark.
Player 9
This one is collected earlier in the chapter. After Crazy Mita leaves, head into Creepy Mita’s Bedroom. Walk over to the Computer Table, and you’ll find the Player 9 Cartridge on a Checkered Box near the shelves.
Player 10
Be Candid
After starting this chapter, head straight to the bedroom and walk over to the nightstand by the bed to find the Player 10 Cartridge.
