Black Ops 6Zombies' Citadelle Des Morts takes players ona mystical main Easter Egg questfilled with complex steps to tackle. From facing a Doppleghast toactivate the Pack-a-Punch Machineto completing a series of trials and rituals, the steps for this main Easter Egg can be quite cryptic, even for Directed Mode players.
Following theirquest to attune the Points of Power, players will be tasked with generating and directing light beams to reveal the Paladin’s Brooch—a task that may be just as challenging as the first. This objective is a vital step toward acquiring the Light Incantation but is rather tricky for newcomers to figure out. Here’show to generate and direct light beams on Citadelle Des Morts.
How To Generate & Direct Light Beams on Citadelle Des Morts
Locating The First Crystal & Directing The Light Beam
To generate and direct light beams to reveal Paladin’s Brooch, players musthead to the Dining Hallandlook toward the north side,just above Vulture-Aid.Here, players must shoot a crystal, mounted on the north wall, to deflect a light beam toward another crystal located above the entrance from the Entrance Hall to the Dining Hall.
Players can accomplish this by standing directly in front of the first crystal, andshooting the base of the crystalto deflect a beam of light downwards. Then, they must head to the second floor on the east side of the Dining Hall andshoot the mirror again to deflect the light beam to the left.If done correctly, the light beam should hit the second crystal and become brighter.
Directing The Light Beam of the Second Crystal
Now that the light beam has been deflected to the second crystal, players mustdirect it to another crystal just above the Lion Knight.This can be done by heading to the southwest corner on the second floor of the Dining Hall, and shooting the base of the crystal to deflect the beam toward the third.
Directing The Light Beam of the Third Crystal
Next, players will need todeflect the beam of light from the third crystalto another within the Alchemical Lab. This can be done by moving to the north side of the Dining Hall, facing the crystal, and shooting its base todirect it into the Alchemical Lab.
Directing The Light Beam of the Fourth Crystal
Now that the beam has been reflected into the Alchemical Lab, players mustdirect it to another crystal in the same room, mounted justabove the Arsenal Workbench.This can be done by standing at the room’s exit on the same side as the fourth crystal and shooting its base to redirect the beam toward the next crystal.
Revealing Paladin’s Brooch
The final step is todirect the light beam from the last crystal to a tablelocated just tothe left of the entrance from the Alchemical Lab to the Dining Hall.This can be done by standing near the same area players used to deflect the previous light beam, and shooting the crystal’s base to redirect it toward the table. Doing so willreveal the Paladin’s Brooch on the tablefor players to pick up, allowing them to move on to the next objective: initiating the Light Ritual inside the Dining Hall.
