There are thousands of furniture and clothing you can craft inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp, but to do so, you’re going to need the proper crafting materials. You’ll receive materials by helping out your animal friends or complete quests, but there are some items that are rarer than others. Friend Powder is one of the less common materials inPocket Camp Complete. While it may not be used in as many recipes as cotton or paper, you’ll still need Friend Powder to craft the furniture that animals request for your campsite.
Best Ways to Get Friend Powder in Pocket Camp Complete
Daily Goals, Stretch Goals
WithPocket Camp Complete, you won’t be able to get Friend Powder by helping your friends enter the Quarry or watering flowers at their campsite. As such, you can no longer get Friend Powder by sharing creatures from your Collected Items during the Garden Event.
However, you’re able to get x5 Friend Powder by completing theDaily Goals every Saturday. It’s not a lot, but it’s a surefire way of getting Friend Powder. There’s also a chance of yourCamp Caretakergiving you a bundle of Friend Powder as a gift. However, the more reliable way is throughWhistle Pass. At Whistle Pass, you can find other villagers and speak with them to get gifts or have them help you enter the Quarry. To get someone to appear, you need to register their Camper Card. You can do this by grabbing the card from someone you know online or offline, or you canvisitPocket Camp Complete’s official siteand scan the QR codes from there.
Once you have some Camper Cards,go to Whistle Passand speak to anyone who appears. You’ll get an event item set and several other items as a gift, including 25+ Friend Powder.
You can check if someone’s at Whistle Pass by tapping theMapoption. If there are red exclamations by Whistle Pass/K.K Slider’s icon, then that means there are visitors.
How to Use Friend Powder in Pocket Camp Complete
Treasure Trek and More
Friend Powder is needed to playBrake Tapper at OK Motors. You’ll need x3 bags of Friend Powder per round. Brake Tapper is a minigame where you can win items called Caps, which you can take to Carlo to trade in for items. You’ll also need Friend Powder for theBellsandBuncha BellsmapsinBlathers’s Treasure Trek. In Treasure Trek, you need a certain amount of Friend Powder to roll the die. x3 is needed in a Bells map; x15 is needed in a Buncha Bells map. Since this cost is quite high, you may be better off using Leaf Tokens for Auto-Trek.
Friend Powder is a necessary crafting material for several furniture and every type of cargo inPocket Camp Complete. Cargo is used for Gulliver’s Ship to obtain souvenirs. Friend Powder is used inthe following crafting recipes:
