Ingenuityis an exclusive drop for killing the King in the Mists, the endgame Ritual Boss you can fight by using the ‘An Audience With the King’ item on theRealmgate in the Atlas. Inside, defeat the hordes of enemies to reach the final boss fight. If you are victorious, there a chance you’ll obtain the Ingenuity Utility Belt as a reward.
Ingenuity Utility Belt is one of the five possible Uniques the King in the Mists can drop upon death, which means obtaining it is not guaranteed for every successful attempt. Luckily, it’s not uncommon either, dropping roughly once every five fights. His unique drop table is:
The King in the Mists is an endgame encounter with multiple tiers of difficulty, with the boss’s power becoming more and more potent at higher difficulties and his drop chance increasing accordingly. The main difficulty of this fight is the boss’s ability to one-shot most builds with certain AoE attacks. Luckily, most of his attacks are the same as theKing in the Mists in Freythorn, back in Act 1 of the campaign, which gives a good idea of what to expect.
Alternatively, you can opt to buy the Ingenuity Utility Belt from the officialPoE 2trade site for around 15-50 Divine Orbs, depending on the rolls. It is the vastly more expensive option, but if you have the currency to spare, it might be worth getting one with a very high roll.
