You’ll notice that paper is one of the crafting materials commonly used for furniture and clothing inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. The best way to get this crafting material is by completing animal requests, but only certain species hand out paper as rewards. When you compare paper toPocket Camp Complete’s other crafting materials, you might notice that paper isn’t used in as much furniture crafting recipes as something like steel. Regardless, paper may be used for making special furniture, so you should start collecting this crafting material as soon as you may.

Animal Requests
Whenever an animal appears on the map, you can speak to them and turn in quest items. Animals stay at their respective locations for3 hours in real time. You can also use aRequest Ticketif you want another round of requests. Depending on thetype of animal, you’ll receive different crafting materials and essence. You can complete requests all at once without having to travel by usingPete’s Parcel Service.
If a paper-giving animal requests fruit or a bug,give them aperfect fruitorrare bugto double your reward. You’ll receive 1500 Bells instead of 100/500 as well as more crafting materials.

Some animals (such as Melba) have their own Treasure Map, meaning you’ll need to use Gulliver’s Shipto get their respective map, then use Blathers’s Treasure Trek to “explore” the map and reach the goal.

You may receive a treasure map from a random gift balloon or by completing animal requests. If the map is marked with a Paper icon, then you can open it and “roll"move along the map by paying 1000 Bells. Alternatively, you can clear the entire map, picking up every bag of paper along the way, by using Auto-Trek. Auto-Trek will cost Leaf Tokens to “roll”/move, but it’s the quickest way to clear the map. The end goal ofa Paper Crafting Material Mapis x20 Paper.
Shovelstrike Quarry
By asking for help and paying in Leaf Tokens, Shovelstrike Quarry can be accessedfive times a day, but if you’re looking for paper, then you’ll want to go when there’s apaper crafting material iconon the quarry’s map icon. At Shovelstrike Quarry, you’re givenfive turns to break open rocks. Each rock contains a mineral (ruby, sapphire, gold nugget, silver nugget) that determines the amount of crafting materials and Bells you’ll receive at the end.
The cheapest way to get into the quarry is toregister other players' Camper Cards, then speak to their character atWhistle Pass. You need help fromthree villagersto enter Shovelstrike Quarry. You can ask for help up totwice a day. Once you’ve met the limit, you’ll need to pay with Leaf Tokens to enter the quarry for the remaining 24 hours.
You can register a Camper Card by selecting the Cards icon at the bottom of your screen. If you don’t know anyone offline or online to exchange QR Codes with, then you can add the 10 Camper Cards fromPocket Camp Complete’s official website.
If you already asked for help twice at Whistle Pass but you still want to enter Shovelstrike Quarry, you’ll need to payx20 Leaf Tokens. You can do this up to three times a day.

Which Furniture/Clothing Requires Paper?
Go into theCraftmenu at the bottom of your screen to craft new furniture/clothing/amenities. When you try to invite new animals to your campsite, they’ll have a list of furniture you need to craft before they join. While most furniturerequires wood and cotton, you’ll occasionally have a recipe that calls forpaper, such as theBalloon Furniture Set (ex: Balloon Chair)andFiling Cabinets. Paper is also used to craftspecial request itemslike the Aurora Screen.
