Fast traveling inLEGO Fortnite Odysseyallows players to rift to different areas of the main island or hop to different islands entirely. This includes destinations like the tropical Lost Isles or theStar WarsVillage, where players canface Stormtroopers and grab their weapons.However, to fast travel, players will need toobtain a Rift Shard.
How To Get Rift Shards
Defeating Golems
The first and most surefire way of obtaining Rift Shards is todefeat a Golem.Golems are hostile mobs that can befound naturally near different island headsaround the Lost Isles, though they can also beencountered wandering all major biomes of the Lost Isles—notably the Plains and Jungle biomes.
Golems come in three variations: Peely, Fishstick, and Tomato. While the Peely and the Fishstick Golems are relatively easy to take down, the Tomato Golem boasts the most difficulty, often requiring Epic rarity tools to defeat. To make short work of a Golem, players shoulduse their highest rarity Pickaxe to deal enough damageand a good rarity shield to block incoming attacks.The Knockback Shieldworks well here, as it can stun a Golem if players use its charge attack.
Once the Golem has been defeated, it willdrop a Rift Shardfor players to loot.
Breaking Bus Stations
The second and less ideal way of acquiring a Rift Shard is bybreaking a Bus Station.Bus Stations can be found on all islands inLEGO Fortnite Odyssey, and players will often encounter one relatively close to the world spawn point. For players looking for a Bus Station, watch for a blue pulsing light in the distance.
To break a Bus Station, players willneed access to a Pickaxe of Epic rarity or higher.Once destroyed,the Bus Station will drop 3 Rift Shards,along with all the other resources used to build it.
