Call of Duty: Black Ops 6Season 1 has set itself up to be a titular start to the latest mainline entry in the series, bringing with it a great roster of content updates for those diving in. ForBlack Ops 6, players may still be enjoying the plethora of maps and game modes added with both the Season 1 and Season 1 Reloaded updates, whileWarzonefans may bediving into Area 99 Resurgenceto continue the grind.
However, fans of a particular Netflix series may be excited to know thatCall of Dutyhas even more content in store, as theSquid GameEvent has marked its debut. With exciting additionalSquid Game-themed game modes for bothBlack Ops 6andWarzone, there is a lot to get into, and players can even play as the notorious Front Man byacquiring the Front Man Operator Skin.
How To Unlock The Front Man Operator
While many of the Operators inBlack Ops 6are reserved as their very own Store Bundles, the Front Man Operator follows a different unlock method. The Front Man Operator is theMastery Reward tied to the premium trackoftheSquid GameEvent PassforBlack Ops 6andWarzone. To unlock it, players will need toearn a total of 356,000 XPduring theSquid GameEvent’s runtime. Once players have done so, they will receive the Front Man Operator—provided they have purchased the premium version of theSquid GameEvent Pass.
Thepremium version of the Event Pass is available for 1,100 COD Points—which is equivalent to $9.99 if players do not already have the required amount of COD Points to purchase it. Once purchased, players will gain immediate access to the High Authority Blueprint forthe XM4 Assault Rifle, along with any other rewards they have earned enough XP for prior to purchasing the Pass—including the Front Man Operator. This means that players can earn all the XP required for the Front Man Operator beforehand, and then purchase theSquid GameEvent Pass if they wish.
Once unlocked, the Front Man Operator can beequipped by heading over to the Operators Tabwithin the main menu of any mode inBlack Ops 6orWarzone, and then selecting the Front Man Operator.
TheSquid GameEvent Pass and its rewards are onlyavailable for a limited timeand will beunavailable after January 24 at 10 AM PT.Once theSquid GameEvent concludes, it is unlikely that the Front Man Operator will return at a later date.
