How to Get the Gauss Gun Early From Pripyat in Stalker 2
Pripyat is a region located at the northwest corner ofStalker 2and isn’t accessible until the later stages. However,players can access Pripyat earlyby doing a little maneuver down at the Yaniv station. After you access Pripyat, make sure you first visit the Palace of Culture base to unlock it. Once you’re done, exit the building and head left on the road until you reachthe Prometheus Movie Theaterin Pripyat.
How to Unlock the Door to Prometheus Movie Theater in Pripyat
After reaching the entrance to the Prometheus Movie Theater, players will find that the door is locked and there is no way to open it. There’s no point in finding a key for it as you aren’t supposed to be here until quite later in the game’s story. However, there’s a little trick you can use to open this door right away.
Hold a grenade in your hand and aim towards the bottom of the door. Instead of throwing the grenade, you’ll need to chuck it forward by pressingLT/L2on a controller orright-click buttonon a mouse.
The grenade will clip through the door and go to the other side, blowing up the debris behind it. It might take a few attempts, but you’ll open the door to Prometheus Movie Theater successfully with this method.
Grab the Gauss Gun Inside the Prometheus Movie Theater
Once the doors to the Prometheus Movie Theater are unlocked, head inside and go right. You’ll spot adimly lit wooden table with the Gauss Gunplaced on it. Grab the gun and now you can start using it immediately.
The Gauss Gun is a highly powerful sniper rifle that can almost one-shot most of the enemies inStalker 2. It usesspecialized cartridges for ammothat you may purchase from Bison, the vendor at the Palace of Culture in Pripyat. Since it’s so powerful, the gamedoesn’t even let you upgrade it from any technician. However, you’ll need to repair it every once in a while to maintain its peak efficiency.
