Leveling up is one of the main ways of gaining power inPath of Exile 2, and while this is something that many players will end up doing naturally as they play, some might feel the need to grind out an extra level or two for any number of reasons.
If you’re looking to meet item requirements, match an area’s power level, or get afew extra passive points inPoE 2, then you’ll want to find a good place to farm for XP. Fortunately, leveling up in this game is a straightforward experience, and it’s all a matter of know what to do and how to do things more efficiently.

Leveling Up in Path of Exile 2
The absolute fastest way to level up is to simply dothe main campaign inPoE 2. There’s plenty of monsters to fight and quests to complete, and players will naturally find themselves at or above the levels of monsters in their current area. However, if you really need to get a significant level advantage over enemies, thenyour best bet is to farm an area that’s two or three levels lower than you.
Monster level is tied to their location, and you can find out what their levels are by pressing Tab/D-Pad Down. This enlargens the minimap, making it cover the entire screen as a transparent layout. It also displays the current map’s monster level in the upper-right corner of the screen, along with other basic info like your current server, character league, and party loot allocation.

The most ideal way to level up is to farm monsters that are at your current level, but if you’re struggling to take enemies out, then farming a zone with lower-level enemies would be better for your XP gain per hour. While you’re clearing maps, ensure to target unique bosses in the area for a shot at getting better loot early inPoE 2.
Monsters that are five or more levels below you offer very little XP, if any at all.

How to Reset Map Instances
After you clear an entire map, you can farm it again by resetting the entire instance. This will respawn every monster on the map, including bosseslike Mighty Silverfist in the jungles of Act 3. This means you can continuously farm your desired map or boss monster until you’re satisfied.
To do this, interact with any waypoint, then press Ctrl+Click (or hold down the A/X button) on the zone you want to reset. This will open up a window containing a list of all active instances — create a new one, and you’ll be teleported to a fresh version of the map.

Once you reach the endgame, then clearing Atlas maps should be the best way to level up, but if you’re having trouble clearing them, consider adjusting your build or farming Act zones on Cruel difficulty.
