Black Panther Abilities in Marvel Rivals
InMarvel Rivals,Duelists can potentially deal the highest DPS, and Black Panther is one of the best heroes in this role. His base health is above average for the class, and he also has abilities that grant him bonus health. That, combined with his passive that increases his damage output based on health lost, makes him a deadly hero for your opponents to go up against.
Black Panther has an above-average base movement speed of 7 m/s.

Here’s a quick overview of all of his abilities inMarvel Rivals:

Bast’s Descent
Ultimate Ability
Black Panther summons Bast, who pounces forward, damages enemies in a large area, and applies the Vibranium Mark on all targets. It also refreshes Spirit Rend.
Black Panther’s abilities on their own might not seem that interesting. However, when you combo them together, they not only deal massive damage, but they also get refreshed and allow Black Panther to gain bonus health while activating the bonus damage from his Panther’s Cunning passive ability.

Black Panther’s get-in, get-out gameplay requires players to single out enemy heroes and chase them down. After getting the kill, you’ll want to look for Health Drops orask your strategist to heal youbefore going back in.
How to Play Black Panther in Marvel Rivals
Black Panther’s whole kit revolves around chaining his abilities in the correct sequence. Despite his above-average base health, Black Panther is still a DPS hero, which means if the opponent manages to lock you down and focus their firepower on you, you’re likely not coming out of it in one piece.
Your main goal as Black Panther is to hit enemies with the Spear Toss or Spinning Kick to apply the Vibranium Mark. Whenever you’ve marked an enemy, hitting them with Spirit Rend refreshes the ability. On top of that, you also gain bonus health, which, combined with the damage boost from the passive, lets you take down any heroes regardless of their role.

Vibranium Mark also lets you see the marked target through walls.
While Black Panther’s Subtle Step ability might seem weak, itadds a lot to the hero’s mobility. You’ll want to constantly use it to scout the enemy heroes from a safe distance without making yourself an easy target.

you’re able to only use double jump after a wall run using Subtle Step.
Since Black Panther has two ways to apply the Vibranium Mark, you’ll want to use those abilities constantly. Both of them have low cooldowns, so you’ll constantly be able to keep the mark active.

You can play more aggressively ifyou’ve got Magik on your team. The Wakandan Master Team-Up power allows Black Panther to rewind time and return to a previous position while gaining bonus health based on the missing health. It has a long cooldown, so you’ll want to use it wisely.
Magik can also use the sameTeam-Up Power with Psylocke.
Black Panther’s ultimate ability, Bast’s Descent, does decent damage in a large area, but that’s not its primary purpose. The ultimate also applies Vibranium Mark to all enemies hit with it, allowing Black Panther to cast multiple Spirit Rends without worrying about it going into cooldown. It’s a game-changing ultimatethat you’ll want to use to target multiple heroes while contesting objectives.
