LEGO Fortnite Odysseyevolves yet again with the Storm Chasers update, bringing the storm fromSave the Worldinto the expansive sandbox ofLEGO Fortnite Odyssey.This update introduces the Storm Chaser Base Camp, a host of powerful weapon upgrades, and the chance toexplore the hazardous Storm Biome.
As players work to upgrade the Storm Chaser Base Camp, they’ll complete a series of challenging tasks, all leading up to powering the Tempest Gateway. Activating this gateway unlocks the opportunity to face the Storm King, though it will require quite a bit of preparation beforehand. Here’s how players canpower up the Tempest Gateway inLEGO Fortnite Odyssey.
How To Level Up The Storm Chaser Base Camp
Before players can head to the Tempest Gateway, they must firstupgrade the Storm Chaser Base Camp to Level 9, which will be revealed by speaking to Kayden after loading into their world following the Storm Chasers update.
Upgrading the Base Camp to level 6 willgrant players access to the upgraded compassupon speaking to Dr. Borrasca, which will display the location of the storms and the Tempest Gateway on the map. However, players will need to upgrade the camp all the way to level 9 before they can power up the Tempest Gateway.

How To Defeat Raven
While players will be tasked with investigating the Tempest Gateway after upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 7, they will be unable to power it immediately. Instead, players mustfirst locate Raven’s Hideout and defeat Raven—which is also one of the requirements to upgrade the camp from Level 8 to 9.
Although some speedrunners may attempt to bypass upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp, it is necessary toreach Level 8 before completing this step.Raven’s Hideout can be found in the Grasslands, and its location will be revealed on the player’s map after obtaining the upgraded compass from Dr. Borrasca. Once players arrive at the hideout, they willfind a rift inside that leads to a dungeon.
Within this dungeon, players will face Raven, who can befound outside a building resembling the hideoutthey initially entered. Raven is a formidable opponent, but players with a high-rarity Sword, a Shield, and even a Crossbow should be able to defeat him without too much trouble.
After defeating Raven, players willreceive three Eyes of the Storm.An additional three can befound in a chest that spawns inside the buildingnear Raven’s location.
How To Get 10 Eyes Of The Storm
The next step is tocollect 10 Eyes of the Storm.Players will already have obtained some from defeating Raven, and canacquire an additional three from Carl Ruckusat the Storm Chaser Base Camp after upgrading it to Level 5. To collect the remaining Eyes of the Storm, however, players will need toexplore Storm Dungeons.
The entrances to these dungeons arerifts located at the very center of storm biomes, which are now marked on the player’s map thanks to the upgraded compass.
Once inside a Storm Dungeon, players will encounter a second rift just ahead of the first. This rift can only beunlocked by destroying three Storm Crystalsscattered throughout the cave. After destroying the crystals, players can take the rift to a lower level of the dungeon.
Here, they mustdefeat waves of enemies and destroy spawnersto unlock both a chest and another rift leading further into the dungeon. These storm enemies have achance of dropping an Eye of the Storm.Players can descend even deeper into the dungeon if they are unlucky, repeating the process of destroying three crystals to unlock another rift, and then battling through another wave of enemies. At this deeper level, players have a muchhigher chance of acquiring Eyes of the Storm,as well as other rewards like Rift Crystals.
Upon collecting 10 Eyes of the Storm, players will be free toupgrade their Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 9.Upon doing so, they can finally power up the Tempest Gateway.
Before players enter the storm, they mustget a hold of Storm Fruit Nectar and a Storm Charm.Doing so will allow them toremain in the storm for a longer duration.
How To Power Up The Tempest Gateway
Now that players have defeated Raven and reached Level 9 with their Storm Chaser Base Camp, they canhead to the Storm King icon on their map—marking the location of the Tempest Gateway. The gateway issituated atop a mountainin the center of a storm biome.
To power up the Tempest Gateway, players can approach andinteract with it to use their 10 Eyes of the Storm.This action will open the gateway. Interacting with it a second time will transport players to the Storm King’s lair, where they can face him in battle.
Upon powering up the Tempest Gateway, players willhave one hour to use it to enter the Storm King boss fight.Both the Storm King and Raven will also respawn every 24 hours for players to beat again if they choose.
