Indiana Jones and the Great Circlediverges significantly from the developer’s previousWolfensteintitles, particularly in level design. WhileWolfensteingames are mostly linear,Indiana Jones and the Great Circleembraces a more open-ended approach, with levels filled with collectibles to discover. However, the first main level isn’t as expansive and contains only a handful of collectibles —ten in total. The guide below provides the locations of all these collectibles to help you complete the level.
When Can You Explore Marshall College?
After completing the quick introduction, your first fight in the museum, andyour initial puzzle, you’ll be able to explore Marshall College. Here, you can visit various rooms to uncover all ten hidden notes scattered throughout the college.
The key areas to focus on are the Janitor’s Closet, Archaeology Classroom, Student Lounges, and Reception, as they house most of the notes. Two of these are story-related notes, leaving eight for you to find through exploration.
How To Get Marshall College Map and the Faculty Card
After solving your first puzzle, make your way to the reception area. To get there, pass through the Anthropology & Natural Science section and continue to the reception.
Once there, pick up the map from the whiteboard. This is a crucial step, as the map makes navigating the college much easier because each room is clearly labeled. Note that the map DOES NOT count as a collectible note in the game.
Your first note is close by. After picking up the map, simply turn around to spot the Faculty Card on the reception table.
How To Get the Blackshirts Article
The Janitor’s Closet contains one note. You’ll find the closet on the first floor of the college. Use your newly acquired map to locate the room and pick up the note inside.
How To Get Strange Aeons #1 and the Baseball Card
The Strange Aeons #1 Comic Book is located in the Student Lounge on the second floor of Marshall College. Head to the lounge and look for the comic resting on one of the tables.
The Baseball Card is also located on the second floor, in the hallway between the Archaeology Classroom and the Student Lounge. Head to the hallway and look for a book trolley at the end. The card will be on top of it.
How To Get All Archaeology Classroom Notes
The Archaeology Classroom on the second floor contains three notes. Use your newly acquired college map to navigate there and collect the following items:

Additionally, you’llfind an Apple, but keep in mind that it doesn’t count as a collectible note.
How To Get the Temple Map
The Temple Map can be found in the entrance room of Professor H. Jones' office on the first floor. Head to the room and check the front desk; the map will be right next to the typewriter.
How To Get All Story-Related Notes
Giant’s Pendant
This is the first story-related note you will acquire in the game. Head to the Student Lounge on the first floor (it should be marked on the map). Straighten up the fallen bookcase and climb it to grab the Giant’s Pendant. With this, you are only one note short of collecting all the notes in Marshall College.
Cat Mummy Photograph
The Cat Mummy Photograph is the second and final story-related note in this chapter. After acquiring the pendant, head back to Professor H. Jones' office. Open the door, and once the cutscene plays, interact with the briefcase. This will unlock your journal, showing all the notes you’ve collected. The Mummy Photograph is on the board in front of you.
Grab the rest of the necessary items, and you’re ready to move on toChapter 2: The Vatican.
