Indiana Jones and the Great Circlefinally brings all the exploration and action from the movies to a worthwhile video game. You can expect all sorts of bare-knuckle brawls with evil fascists alongside a globetrotting adventure. The game always keeps Indy on his toes with ancient tombs filled with dangerous traps and puzzles. The main story allows you to learn hintsfrom using Indy’s camera.However, most smaller puzzles will have little to no hints about how to solve them. It’s up to you the player to figure out these ancient puzzles for ancient rewards.
The first large section of the game takes place in the Vatican as Indy searches for a stolen idol. In the Vatican Underworld, you may come across a narrow gap. This guide will show you how to get a torch past the water inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Torch Puzzle
You will find this puzzle after you have completedthe Sacred Wounds Puzzleand found the Giant’s Tomb. It’s now your objective to find a way out. While exploring, you can find this small gap on the right side of the corridor. Bring a torch, which will be put out by the water spilling from overhead.
If you enter this room you will notice a burnable door that requires a torch. You must find a way to bring a torch into this room while avoiding the water putting it out.

Torch Puzzle Solution
The black arrow on the map below is where you can find the narrow gap in the wall. You must instead move further down the path and take the first right when you are able. Take the next right past the small chamber. Walk down the corridor and past a square column.
Look up to see theblue light shining through a holein the wall near the ceiling. This crack can be found at the red arrow on the map marked above.Hold LT to aim, then RT to throw the torch through the hole.Return to the gap and squeeze through. Simply pick up the torch you threw and use it to burn the door down. Collect the Ancient Relic from the low shelf near some jars. You can then use your whip to pull the chain on a door to leave this area and get back to themain story inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle.
