After a pre-registration period that saw more than 30 million people signing up to play nearly a month before the game’s launch,Infinity Nikkiwas releasedon July 05, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. Less than a month after the game’s launch, Nikki and Momo are already looking forward to the release of the game’s first big content update, which is set to arrive on May 22, 2025. The highlight of the update will be the Wish Festival, an event in which it’s said that every wish made on a shooting star comes true. A newly released trailer shows Nikki and Momo boarding a giant mechanical paper crane and taking off into a sky filled with shooting stars before joining others in making a wish. As shown in the trailer, there will also be some brand-newability outfits for Nikkito try out. The first, a white and gold dress and top hat combo titled Wings of Wishes, grants Nikki a floating ability, allowing her to summon an ethereal golden paper crane, on which she balances as it glides through the sky. The second outfit shown, a full-length dark blue gown called Starfall Radiance, will cause a shooting star to streak when Nikki folds her hands in prayer.
The upcoming update will also provide a number of seasonal Wish Encounters that players can experience. As shown in the preview, these will include an unexpected gift at the mayor’s residence, Manna’s wish that the shooting stars would stay in the sky, and an investigation of a mysterious bottle that will make use ofInfinity Nikki’s photo mode. Rewards for completing Wish Adventures and Wish Encounters include Diamonds, Bling, and a unique earring sketch.
