The Storm Chasers have arrived inLEGO Fortnite Odyssey, offering players an additional adventure that culminates in a final showdown with the Storm King. Of course, before players can face this terrifying boss, they must first acquire some lucrative items and gear.
As players progress through the Storm Chasers Journal, they will be tasked with upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp. While this requires players to defeat Storm Acolytes andexplore the hostile Storm biome, some may be unsurehow to enter a Storm Cave—essential for completing both the Weekly Quests and upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 7.
Where To Find Storm Caves
Storm Caves, otherwise known as Storm Dungeons, are a unique point of interestfound only in the Storm biome.Storm biomes can be spotted from far away thanks to the large purple storm circling the biome. However, the most surefire way to locate a Storm biome is by upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 6. Upon doing so, players will receive an upgraded compass from Dr. Borrasca, revealing the locations of every Storm biome both on the map and on the compass.
Once players have located the Storm biome, they canhead to the mountain within the center of the biome, where a Rift will be waiting. To enter a Storm Cave, players simply need toenter through this Rift.
Why Visit a Storm Cave?
While entering the Storm Cave may not seem rewarding at first, there are a few ways for players to bag some lucrative rewards. Upon entering the Storm Cave, players will come acrossa second Rift, which can beunlocked by destroying three Storm Crystalslocated on the first layers of the cave. Once this is done, players will unlock a Rift andgain access to a Chest—one that can reward them with an Eye of the Storm or even Rift Crystals.
After descending through the newly unlocked Rift, players will enter an area where theymust survive a wave of spawners. These waves involve defeating Storm Acolytes and other enemies, as well as destroying the spawners that summon them. The enemies in this area willfrequently drop Greater Storm Coresandoccasionally Rift Crystals, which can beused to acquire Legendary Items. There is also achance of obtaining Eyes of the Stormhere, which are crucial forpowering up the Tempest Gateway.
Once players have cleared this section of the Storm Cave, another Chest will spawn (which will drop a Storm Rune), along with yet another Rift. Entering this Rift will have playersrepeating the process of unlocking another Riftby destroying additional Storm Crystals. Upon entering this next Rift, players willface even more waves of spawners and Storm enemies, this time with a greater level of difficulty. Here, players have an evenbetter chance of acquiring Eyes of the Storm and Rift Crystals, making this an ideal area for farming these valuable resources.
