All Maps & Game Modes Available in Marvel Rivals

Season 0 ofMarvel Rivalshas four game modes for players to explore and try. As mentioned earlier, the maps for each game mode are different. Here’s how each of the game modes works, along with the available maps in the game:

Convoy

In Convoy game mode, one team will have toescort a moving vehicleto the other end of the map. The defending team’s goal is to stop the escorting team by either killing them or contesting the vehicle.

When the game begins, the defending team can leave the spawn area and head towards the vehicle to set up an ambush. The attacking team will have to stay inside the spawn area for 30 seconds. When the attacking team is released, they must capture the vehicle for it to start moving. Once captured, the vehicle will move forward as long as there’s at least one hero from the attacking team nearby.

The vehicle will move faster if there are multiple heroes around it.

Each map in the Convoy game mode contains two checkpoints. The attacking team’s goal is to escort the vehicle through the checkpoints and make their way to the end of the map. There’s also a timer, and if the attacking team doesn’t make it to the end before it counts down to zero, the defending team wins.

However, once the vehicle reaches a checkpoint, some extra time gets added to the timer, giving an advantage to the attacking team. If the defending team manages to defeat the attacking team, they can capture the vehicle, and it will start rolling back. The defending team can only roll back the vehicle until the previously captured checkpoint.

Domination

In this game mode, two teams fight to control a single point on the map. The capture point, called Mission Area, activates after 30 seconds. To capture the point, a team member has to stay in the Mission Area until the bar goes up to full.

Once captured, players must prevent the opposing team from entering the Mission area. The progress bar increases by 1% every 1.2 seconds. The team that holds the Mission Area until the bar reaches 100% wins the round.

Once the Mission Area is captured, you don’t have to continue to stay inside the zone for the bar to progress.

The opposing team can contest the Mission Area by walking inside it. This will cause the Progress Bar to halt until your team pushes the enemy team out of the zone. If your team gets pushed out instead, the enemy will start to capture the Mission Area.

If a team contests the Mission Area when the opposing team is close to winning, the game enters Overtime. You’ll see a Golden Bar at the top of your screen that depletes as long as no enemy heroes are inside the Mission Area. If the enemy team gets in, the bar is paused until your team eliminates the opponent heroes or gets them away from the zone.

This game mode has three rounds. The first team to capture the Mission Area twice wins.
